Misty Mountains

“Were I called on to define, very briefly, the term art,
I should call it “the Reproduction of what the senses
perceive in nature through the veil of the mist
— Edgar Allan Poe

This photo is not retouched (only resized), the mist is what gives the Blue Ridge Mountains their name – and the mist was thick today. Taken in Watauga County, NC.

  1. It must be very tranquil to stand and take in this view. I have not yet been to the Americas – but it is on my list.

Thank you for your good wishes. It is most appreciated.
